Wilson Chu, Painter

wilson chu-1.png

Wilson Chu was born in China in 1946 and began painting at a very early age. He apprenticed under Professor Wong Shaw Ming, a well known artist in the Guangzhou.

Wilson Chu’s talent and success inspired him to move to Canada in 1977 where he has contrinued to mature as an established Artist.

Wilson has earned a fine reputation as a painter of various subjects. He has a natural feeling for the vibrant colors that come with the seasonal changes of British Columbia’s West Coast. He expresses this in his landscape and floral paintings.

His depictions of flowers are infused with a rich, textural quality of light that very few painters are able to achieve.
